Ocean freight news - NE Asia to New Zealand Rate Restoration (January 2019)

OOCL has advised a rate restoration for the North East Asia to New Zealand trade lanes, including cargoes from China, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan and Taiwan to ports and points in New Zealand.

Followed are the detailed rates:

  • US$300/20'
  • US$600/40'

The above rates will be applicable from 1st January 2019, for both dry and refrigerated cargoes in the base ocean freight going from China, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan and Taiwan to ports and points in New Zealand.

Note that the applicable date is based on proforma sailing date, and will be applied in full on top of existing ongoing market rates to all shipments based on shipment onboard date, and will be subject to ancillary surcharges applicable at the time of shipment.
